Just came here to post about this.

Not what I expected to read this morning.

The radio is always on while going through the morning routine before work. I had just gotten out of the shower this morning and the wife asked who he was, and that he had died.

I was like, "Whaaaaat???"

What a shit way to kick off a day. Soundgarden was by far my favorite band to emerge from the whole grunge movement. Chris' solo stuff was pretty decent also.

Yeah-he was in a good chunk of my play list in the shop-now every time I hear one of his songs I'm annoyed I won't get to see him in concert.

Me too, another concert I'll never see.

Soundgarden was a big part of my life soundtrack in my late teens well into my 20s.....
