I wonder if Tech3 would hire Jorghey once he gets fired by Ducati? It's obvious that he can only ride the Yamaha and there's no way they would get rid of either Rossi or MV.
Zarco and Petrux!!! What a great year so far for the satellites!
JL being the slowest Ducati rider in the dry but the fastest in the wet practice. Strange times.
Both Q1 and Q2 were cracking!

Q1 was great! No pit stop for those guys.
Weather reports in Assen show showers till 9am with the GP bikes gridding up at 1pm. Not sure what level the track grip will be at then, but it's interesting to consider the strengths and weaknesses of the 16' vs 17' Yamaha chassis and how the factory boys seem to suffer when traction is low. But then Rossi qualifies well and the mystery continues. Rule #1 in the points chase will be to avoid any more DNFs. As far as the podium, I don't have the slightest clue...
Monkey is really showing his worth to Ducati. I hope he gets a factory ride or special factory support next year.

He already has the GP 17, based on merit.
Pray Harley doesn't buy Ducati, or he'll have to buy his own gas next year. ;D
Rossi referred to 'Cole Trickle' talking about today. I make the beast with two backsing love it! [clap] :D

Didnt realise he had the 17. Good for him.
I'm sure Marquez is totally stoked to be right next to Petrucci on the grid. ;D
My money's on Zorro, I think he'll nail the start from pole and just get smaller and further away every lap.
I hope Sam told Romano to pull his head out and provide bikes that start at least most of the time and don't blow up every session or two.
He's got quite a set of stones throwing his rookie rider under the bus when shit breaks on the regular.
What a race!
Monkey got baulked on the last lap. Apparently no blue flag was displayed. A bitter sweet second place from his interview. If JL doesn't lift then maybe next year..
Great win for the Goat as he loves the place with a 20 year streak of winning races at this level. MM makes another great save and makes ground in championship. The points close up with Dovi leading the championship.
Two things, first, never count out the old man! I doubt anyone could have beat him today. Second, Dovi leading the championship!!! Again, Ducati leading the championship!!!
MM looked like a third wheel on that podium
What.a.race!
That was a really good race!
I thought Zarco was going to do it, but it just unraveled. :-\
Odd the way both Dovi and Cal slashed giant chunks of time to catch a group, then not be able to get through and away.
Top 4 riders covered by 11 points, that's just insane.
:o For make the beast with two backss sake!! That was some epic shit right there boys and girls. [clap]
Happy team and rider. [clap]

I haven't seen moto3 yet, but moto2 was every bit as good as the GP, and the announcers have been talking about how good moto3 was.
Zarco needs to learn to use a harder tire if he wants to be there at the end. He ran out of grip, and when it started to sprinkle he figured he had nothing to lose switching bikes and praying for a down pour.
Edit...watch moto3...seriously.
Yep, teenagers 3 and 4 abreast braking into turns, what could possibly go wrong? [evil] The future's looking good.
I think the commentators said that The Goat has the record for his span of wins. 20 years. Is it correct that it is a record at this level? If so then it has to cement VR as the GOAT .

That race went from mediocre to unbelievable in one lap!
Rossi is a lucky man that win belonged to Petrucci.
Hey Ducati, Iannone had issues to overcome, how's the new guy working out? HAve you tried buying an R1 and slapping some Ducati stickers on it?
This could have been real bad for my boy.

Close. Dovi did well to miss him.
Iannone would have run him over, stopped and backed into him for good measure.

That's not true, Iannone would have taken him out a few laps earlier.
I cant believe that Dovi is leading the championship. Man, say what you want about Dorna but their rule changes made for some really great racing. That and some spotty Michelins haha.
