Is it true that Ducati will not sell you a workshop manual for their new bikes? A friend just bought a new Monster and says that the dealer cannot sell him a workshop manual for it... Ducati does not make one - just the huge Dealer manual that covers all of their bikes. Please say it isn't so.
They are nearly all free online...what are you looking for?

The new bikes, they sell a thumbdrive with all of the models for a range of years, for ~$400.... or so I've been told.

Up to 2014 bikes. I have the 09'-11 manual. This manual goes on sale 1/2 price usually once a year. Excellent manual but they are PC only, I use a Mac and run a VM software to view it.

Yes, this is what the dealer told him $400 for everything. He just bought a 2017 1200 S and has a collection of manuals for all the other Ducs he has owned.
OK Thanks for the info.
I have one for the 2015 Monster 821 if you need it.
I just bought a 2014 Ducati Monster 796 ABS and can't find service manual anywhere.

This is what I found and not sure if it is a scam or the real deal...
So was it a scam? I need one, too.
