Well since I can't really find any real details about both. I was already interested in the Motodemic headlight conversion for my 2012 Evo 1100 BUT then today, I went to the shop and saw my same bike there with it installed... so of course that got me back to thinking.
Prices:
Motodemic - $680 (I am not buying the adaptive version under no circumstances $1100 for a headlight is stupid)
Corse Dynamic - $260 (not full conversion as it sits in the main lighting housing)

Motodemic does have the full conversion and has the new visual appeal from the side and front. As well, it also replaces the turn signals with the smaller LEDs. And from what it seems, really good light output but I am not sure if it is really worth the basically 700 price tag.
As well, I am actually a fan of the flatten headlight on the 2012 so switching it out with the Corse Dynamics might look really good from a side profile perspective but still have the upgraded look and feel with the projector lens.
The only problem is I have no seen any picture of the Corse Dynamic installed on a monster yet so I am semi guesstimating what it will look like.
Pics below.... what are your thoughts??

Probably not the answer you want, but having seen the best LED lights compared to a good bucket and a good H4.... not worth it IMO. My issue with the LED lights has always been that their outputs are 'brittle' - reach is good, but they don't seem to 'fill' particularly well.

Funny you say that because I am currently running a LED HID setup. Works like a champ and definitely brightens up the night. I honestly just dislike the look of the factory one.

Maybe the result of a change from a stock 1100 light is different than in an classic bucket - I don't know... Also, maybe I'm mistaken...
What I do know is that the classic bucket they sell, with a good H4 bulb, is very very much better than most stock lights.
Reading your first post, I get an impression of,
1) You were initially interested in Motodemic headlight conversion
2) But you saw someone's bike, the same model as yours, had this headlight set up, at the shop
3) You started considering Corse Dynamics also as an option
is that correct?
You (kind of) changed mind because you saw someone already did it on the same bike?
I'm not trying to be judgemental, or showing disrespect, but, that case, it is best to pick up the one you like the most.
Because, either way, the cost:performance gain ratio is VERY poor.
(Again, I'm not trying to offend you. It's your bike, so you should customize it the way you want.
But, from purely functional point of view, if you want to see better at night, nothing beats adding auxiliary lights.)

Aux light mod can be done with a lot less money than LED headlight kit.
Also, you can see better with those "slightly yellow-ish" light that comes from incandescent light bulb, than those "trendy, super white -almost- bule-purple-light" from some of the LED and HID unit. Especially when condition gets worse, with rain and fog.
Sooo almost right.
1. Saw the motodemic light long time ago and liked it.
2. Went to the shop today and actually got to see it for the first time in person which made me want it more.
3. Given the price, I stated liking for other options and found the course dynamics but no reviews for it.
My current led hid kit that I have installed is pure white with a very small hint of yellow light. All in all I like the rounded done light as it gives me a cafe racer type of feel but the price I just can't see it being worth it.
I recently put a led bulb that is a replacement for the stock 2005 s2r800 with old bucket. Also got a led light off amazon for my friends harley as a graduation present. Only cost me $50 and my friend loves it over his stock bulb (like mine in my s2r).
The amazon ones look real similar to the ones you pictured. Just a cheap alternative.
I have a Motdemic on my S2R1000 the fit and quality of their product is amazing with
zero tolerance beautifully machined .
Clear sharp light output but you need to have them securely fitted as any movement
on these LED light ends up exagerated with almost a strobe effect .
I ride home from work at night and the OEM headlight was very poor , huge improvement .
OEM headlight poor performance comes from the voltage drop caused by really thin (18 gauge) stock wire.
The headlight (Bosch 7&1/4 inch round lamp) itself is, believe it or not, pretty good stuff.
Not as good as Cibie, but it is really good, a lot better than most of you would think.
To get the most out of it, you will need heavy duty harness and relay, and high wattage bulb.

What I want you to see is the beam pattern and very clear cut off (which is very important, unless you are setting your bike up for Baja 1000.)
I have the Motodemic on my 695. Don't regret it at all. I first had an HID bulb in the standard bucket. Whiter light, but no cutoff. This has a sharp cutoff, and is definitely brighter than both. As someone else said, it does not "fill" 100%, but is still a huge improvement over stock. I'll try to get photos tonight/tomorrow.
Generally I don't ride at night. But I do obsess about daytime visibility to oncoming traffic, left turners, morons, etc. How does an LED headlight compare to a decent halogen?
BK
Good question. I have noticed OEM car headlights are good at this, Harley not so much. Some of the worst I've seen are aftermarket units in Jeeps.
For that purpose (enhancing daytime conspicuity), you don't need super bright headlight.
If you are serious about this, I recommend reading these article.
Triangle of light
https://motolight.com/triangle-of-light/
The study was done by Honda R&D department in Japan.
Basically, triangle-light pattern works a lot better than giant blob of single white light.
You want to place a pair of running lights as low and as far wide apart as possible.

Placement of the auxiliary lights matters. ( the set up that works best as daytime conspicuity lights does not work really well for illuminating the night road and vice versa. So you have to find the compromise that works best for “your†need.)
Also, the color (amber get you noticed better), beam pattern make difference.
My set up. (they are primarily set up for night time illumination. But also do decent job as conspicuity lights.)

Forgot to add,
reflector lamp works a lot better than projector lamp. (For the purpose of conspicuity light)
(Off axis, projector lamps are not so noticeable.)
Notice the black lettering at the top. FYI.

Pictures don't show true brightness. I'd guess it's 40% brighter. Definitely noticeable.
Projector lamps are excellent, for making pencil beam spot, really tight beam control and no hot spot in the beam pattern. So, they are great for high speed riding on log straight road. (You want to cast the light as far a head as possible.)
Unfortunately, there's no lighting system that does it all.
That tight beam control makes it the light less visible OFF AXIS than conventional reflector lamp, for other road users.
Also, they aren't ideal for riding through the twisty back road at night. (without the aid of auxiliary lamps.)
You can (sort of) see it in my video above, but, one of the biggest advantage of Cibie, Hella and Bosch are the so called "Euro beam pattern".
When you look at the beam pattern on the wall, they look like this

If you have a headlight with totally flat cut off, and have no aux lights (as cornering lamp), and going through corners, where you want to see is outside of beam pattern.

Makes it look much more modern than the OEM. As someone else stated, I'd say it decreases visibility for cars approaching from the sides. But riding at night this unit catches reflections off of animal's eyes on the side of the road much better/from farther away. That's the main reason I got it.
