Title: CF airbox
Post by: truckinduc on July 22, 2008, 05:19:46 AM
Ive been getting into the use of composites now. Once i save up some money and pay off my hospital bills im gonna buy a fairly large supply of carbon and high quality resin.

Ive already been in the design process of a cf airbox. It will be extra-high volume, ram air style. Ill save you the deatials at this point.

Does anyone have any threads related to this, or have any input, or want to dicsuss.

other carbon items on the to do list include twin mufflers, a tail, seat pan, and possible tank.

well I'd be interested in a CF Airbox to fit my S4RS.  Give it some thought though because the discussions revolving around open airboxes, using Pod filters instead, that sort of thing indicate differing needs for the Testestretta motor.  Something about required pressure and shower injectors.  Sharper tools than I will have to speak to technical issues but count me in if you get to 'production'.
