Bought a 2014 Ducati Monster 1200S from a Kentucky dealer. It had just over 1,000 miles on it, and mint condition. Low-balled them and they took it. I live in the Indy area. Started riding in 2012 with a Suzuki SV650, then had a Yamaha FZ-09, now I have this...

WAY more bike than I can need. I have it on Urban mode right now and it still is a blast. The torque is amazing, and this is coming from someone who had a Yamaha Triple (granted, 60lbs of torque vs 100 with the Ducati).
Mods will be:
1) maybe wind hand guards - recommendation needed
2) maybe removable touring windshield - recommendation needed
3) frame rail sliders - recommendation needed
4) moving the license plate up - I don't care for the mud guard on the 1200S - recommendation needed
5) maybe a after market muffler
For now, when it's 50 and not rainy I try to get out and ride. It's been since May since I have ridden so just trying to get back those good habits. Can't imagine I'll ever get the full use out of it, but the bike certainly is fun so far.
Welcome [thumbsup]
1) wait until you're sure? Many generic will fit.
2) wait until you're sure and know how tall. Ducati has a nice one and sponsors Motowheels and Monsterparts too.
3) 4) and 5) same sponsors as above
