Haven't been here in a while... Sprayed my tank and fairings w/ plasti dip a while back. It keeps tearing and getting scratch marks. Also its not fuel proof. Anyone know of a fuel and scratch proof alternative to plasti dip? Really like the way it looks but it just doesn't hold up.
Found something that is but its not available in the states. Any insight appreciated!
Most automotive paint suppliers can load a 2 component single stage urethane product into an spray can.
Can you dumb it down sir? Is what you speak of temporary? I have a gloss finish on my monster and I really like the way it looks w/ a matte finish so I just wanted to get that look but I don't want to get permanently alter the OEM finish.
Maybe foil ?

No, it wouldn't be temporary. What you did was temporary, apparently. ;D
I want it to be temporary but scratch & fuel proof. Would that be like having my cake & wanting to eat it?

Yup.
You won't get durability from a temporary coating.

that dupli-color looks great . got me a plan. sweet.
i tried wrap. pain the ass. either you pay someone to do it or expect to get below average results.
motorcycles just have too many complex angles to use wrap. even the tank came out looking like hell. didnt even bother trying the fender.
this is pretty fricking cool https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kXsky4lQbnU
The next time someone goes to Finland maybe they can bring back a bunch of this stuff with them? ? ?
