The link in your first post leads to a seat for newer Monsters. They have other seats for your bike.

I've always wanted to try one but I am pretty happy with my DP Comfort Seat. The only downside on the DP Comfort is the gel retains a LOT of heat when left in the sun for a short period of time. I usually take a seat cover or pour water on my seat before riding on hot days to keep it cool.

Wish I'd seen this thread earlier. That seat sucks. Hold out for a DP gel seat, you wil not regret it. Or have someone modify your stocker. I have a guy...

i do have to revise this thread, i was able to jam the seat on my bike after breaking a serious sweat. I took the bike for a 100 plus mile ride and have to report back that it was the most comfortable i have ever been on a ducati. the fitment is tight as hell and i'm having speeddog sort that out while we do a little cosmetics on the bike. However, it is a much much much better seat than any DP gel i've ever owned.

I guess everyone's ass us different. I loved both my DP sears, the look the comfort etc. The Saddlemen WOULD NOT accept my cowl, not even close.
