I read somewhere that they’ve put more restrictions this year as to where you can sit. I’m guessing that dudes been sitting or standing in that particular spot before. (?) Maybe he can hear the races from his accommodations.  :D

“The practice session â€" for Superbike/Superstock/Supersport machinery â€" was red flagged after 10 minutes. First reports were of a tree being set on fire at the Churchtown area, which required the fire brigade to enter the circuit.

Following this, another occurred involving a course car that was attending the initial incident on track. Ballacrye is at mile 17 on the TT's mountain course, with Churchtown a few miles down the track towards Ramsey.”

Large fires have previously occurred due to crashes. Probably a tank rupture.

Sad news. The Isle is unforgiving.
Hope the other injured rider pulls through, he was airlifted out. He may have missed the flag and hit or got baulked by the course car attending to Kneen.

Ok, so I'm watching the end of the TT race [3?] the other night as the top finishers pull in off the track.  One of the riders crew members comes up next the bike and discharges a big white cloud of something onto the bike. Was it for cooling something? Seems like extreme temperature changes would NOT be a good idea? ..... but what do I know. 

Fire?  Something tells me the announcer would've made a bigger fuss about that.

Not having spent much time at or around a track I was curious what it was about.
