A colourful character and refreshingly non PC. Reminds me of Edwards.

More importantly...he's fast on the Duc. Seems comfortable...happy. Granted, he's on a fully developed bike.

If the factories don't make significant gains, which is unlikely, he'll be on the podium at Qatar.

He needs that. This is the year he needs to put up, or shut up...career wise.

I agree that this is a make or break year for sure. He has to make the most of this opportunity with this equipment, because he won't be given any more chances since he doesn't bring big money with him.

Sounds like the engineers got a bit lost. Maybe trying to please a bunch of good riders' opposing feedback and pleasing no one. Then there's a change in the tyres.

There's also some talk that Maverick and Forcada are butting heads.

Not a good way to start the season. Hopefully they can work it out.

Not a big surprise, if the bike works great one day and back of the pack the next day.

Piled on top of Zarco riding circles round the factory boys.

Forcada: "We'd do better if we had a real rider, look what Herve is doing with little more than two box vans and a rental car."

Maverick "Yeah, you and Silvano together with the factory can't provide a bike better than Guy Coulon's year-old kit. You guys are obviously quite the adept crew chiefs."

Zarco is on the '16 chassis....even he decided against the '17.

At least Yamaha didn't take Zarco's bike and give it to Maverick, like Ducati gave George Petrucci's #2 GP17 to prove that wasn't the reason he was faster than him, or that the '18 didn't suddenly get worse.

Syharin on his first weekend was faster than George. Maybe Petrucci will get a Ducati factory seat after all. [evil]

Be good to see how Zarco and Nakagami go.
