dear ducpainter:
As disturbing as you seem;
frozen in your moto jacket; ;D
Pleas thaw out;
Its SPRING!
who votes to get nate to change seasons: [popcorn]

You must be one of those silly boys that uses the calendar to determine the seasons. [roll]
I'll thaw out when the snow is gone...only about 18" to go. :-*

ummm I looked out the window this afternoon; and despite the threat of a dusting overnight; the grass is green and the daffadill's are in full bloom [evil]; but I forget your in the far east; in the hills.
so you got a month to go ... :P
Green grass and Daffodils you say? For a second I thought you were going to make an 'Outlaws' reference. :P
It will be a while before they're visible.
BTW...is this about bikes...or the weather?

The outlaws reference is to do with the band or mc club? Not 100% familiar with either of them. But some interesting history on both. "Green Grass And High Tides" a classic great of southern rock & guitar. What ever happen to em; have to ad that to my play list.
Were (maybe no so) poetically talking about bikes & riding (season); right? [Dolph]
The band...it was a long time ago, but they're still around. So is the mc.
Yeah, I knew what the reference to spring was about, but it's turned to the weather, bands, and wait...outlaw mc clubs.
I guess it's still about bikes. ;D

Well was on the mountain plateau last weekend; at 1100 meters (3600ft) there was still 18" of snow in the bush, but the aspens were just beginning to show green in the buds, and pussy-willows were in bloom, its a late spring melt; but plenty of dry asphalt; I'm putting the s2r 1k through the paces today in the cherry blossoms on the coast. That's how I judge the seasons. [Dolph]
Think its time to change that avatar?

Still snow in my yard.
Temp was 30 this morning, I wore my long johns to the range, and it snowed yesterday.
Not spring in my book.
Our dogwood is blooming, it is spring here. 8)

Maybe if I change my avatar spring will...well...spring.
I can make it snow, or rain. All I have to do is get on a roof. ;D
It was close to 60 yesterday, and supposed to be warmer today. Planning on setting up the trampoline later today, once the temps climb out of the 30's.
Done.
Happy spring thaw, that winter avatar was somewhat disturbing; avatar was a well done winter frosty DP rider (but also looked disturbingly RIP frozen!)
and what mountain do you live on any-who; at what elevation? I did hear about the snow storm back east last week; too funny. Have fun on the trampoline.
and what spring foliage is poking out of the snow or budding out? Daffs; tulips; crocuses? pussy willows blooming? shrubby redosier dogwood bark turning red?
oh and happy riding [Dolph]
Keep calm - we'll get there 8)
(actually, this wouldn't clear until after next winter, if then)(local new ice age)
