Man, Pirro copped a beating, good news is he seems to be pretty much OK. :o
That was a big stack. :o
Dovi sets a new speed record of 356.4 kmh. Then his bike blows up catching fire for another red flag.
Jack's doing well.

Pirro regained consciousness when the trackside docs put his dislocated arm back in place. That's one way to bring someone back. [evil]

Yamaha strike back. Goat on pole.
Just under 0.8 sec covers the top 12
It is a track that plays to Yamaha's historical strengths, not sure to what degree that's true today.
Rossi has expanded his repertoire to include "Saturday Man" for his home event.
They do seem to have made good progress, Vinales doing well on a very hot track.
He was reportedly running with the rear wheel far forward in the adjustment.
Lorenzo very rapid, I suspect there's something concrete in his future to support the pace.
Iannonne about up to his usual "just lost his job and he's pissed" pace.
Marquez and Dovi struggling to get a fast lap.

...and then comes Sunday.
Ducati 1, 2 and VR 3. Bravo!
Mugello is goin' off tonight!
Lorenzo was launched out of a cannon and never looked back. [clap] 6 riders on the ground before lap 3. MM tried to ride it out.
Looked like the Lorenzo of old.

Gorgeous George must have had a better manicure...yeah that's it.
I think Marquez should have received penalty points for pushing Petrucci of the track. Petrucci used up his tires catching the front runners.

I remember that wrestler. ;D
I reckon Ducati team thought that Dovi's a hard braker, so why does Lorenzo need a different tank? Maybe lack of upper body strength or due to sitting back further with a larger gap to the tank? Was it an excuse or a real issue? If it was a major factor, we should see some more wins or podiums.

Good point.
George is too 'particular'. If everything isn't perfect. he sucks. If all his Ducs are lined up, he's unbeatable. Ducati's are not perfect...never have been.
I also don't think he gives many suggestions to the engineers as to what he needs. I obviously don't know, but if he needed a different tank shape to win races and told Gigi that's what he needed, do you really think it would have taken 18 months?
Ducati paid 25 million Euros to get him for 2 years. The tank mod cost $50.
I'm not buying the excuses. It was a good manicure.

I think Magilla or Jack will be more mentally robust and adaptable which the team will like. Surely the team will just generally get on better with either of those guys.
Just for the record, nothing would make me happier than for You'reghey to go back to Yamaha, and whine about how Rossi and Vinales ruined the bike and that's why he can't perform.
You dont like him much ay? [laugh]
He will still be Georgeeeee Lorloser
As said above if nobody bothers him he can ride at the front but it all has to be perfect ..tank is an excuse

Agree. The officials are letting him get away with all kinds of nonsense.

Ugliest crash I've seen in a long time.
Makes me hurt just watching. :-X
Very ugly. Shows how good the safety gear is.
I hope someone has footage from trackside, so you can really get a feel for the distance he was airborne. :o
I actually hoped Danilo snatched MM out of his boots and wall to wall counseled him. ;)

You don't want Magilla gettin' hold of ya'😎
No sir!
That'd probably do in 3 normal people.
And he was asking if they'd let him race the next day.
I suspect Dani is over showing Danilo the clear differences between his leathers and MM's.
Lest he get bulldozed by mistake.
Was the cause of Pirro's crash ever determined?
rider error ;D

Sounds reasonable
That's a confidence booster right there.
2 tries on the brake get nothing, and the 3rd try gets you teleported onto the back of Bodacious to get tentpegged.
These guys won’t get the Bodacious reference. :D

The braking mishap turned the bike into Bodacious the hall of fame bucking bull!
I had to google it! ðŸ'ðŸ»
Ding ding. ;)
Here he is in his heyday. None other like him.

I often google for a translation of Aussie or Euro slang, turnabout's fair play! ;D
One name instead of ten words, I couldn't resist.
That bull was such a badass that Primus wrote that song just for him. 8)
One tough bull. Imagine him landing on you with that 1900 pounds off beef!
Honestly I think I’d rather have Bodacious squish me than get launched off a bike at the speed Pirro was going. ;)
It was one nasty crash for sure. He was certainly flying! I count a full 2 seconds.
