Shit - I'm 2,000 miles from home with busted front wheel bearing(s).
Tried calling Motowheels (also emailed) to get advice on the question: 'OEM Ducati bearings ok'. Not open/not available....
I can get it fixed in a day or two if OEM works...
The OEM bearings are probably SKF. Anyway, they can be crossed referenced to another brand. These guys https://www.allballsracing.com/ are reputable can supply you probably as quick as Motowheels if you can't find bearings locally.
Thanks Howie - the question is specifically if the bearings in the BST wheels are equal to OEM.
Stephano at MotoWheels measured a bearing from BST they had and those measurements are equal to the OEM 70250451A/SKF 6005 2RS . If that info is correctly understood and communicated....
6005 is the industry designation of the size, 25mm x 47mm x 12mm (Inner diameter x outer diameter x width)
2RS means it has 2 rubber seals.
That is indeed the designation/size of the OEM 'large axle' front wheel bearings.
How did I miss BST?
>>>How did I miss BST?
I thought he meant "Best", I.e. are there better bearings than OEM.
Took a while to get them, but they fit [thumbsup]
I missed my train from Vienna to Hamburg today because of the delivery delays and am forced to ride the distance (I think Italians just don't see logistics as a worthy excerzise)
Heading home tomorrow, from Cortina to Kiel, Sunday 500 miles, Monday morning 250. Ferry to Oslo and home Tuesday.

I'll make a picture report later.

Glad you got it figured out Lars.
