I know I have been gone awhile, but where is everyone?
Things have been pretty quiet here since Muskrat pulled up stakes and put DFW in his rear view.
I'm still hanging about but the Duc is currently half apart in the garage waiting on me to put a starter motor back in.

I’m in Colorado. Get the hell up here and let’s ride. I rode to Estes park and Fudge me what a ride
If all goes well, I'll finally get my 996 registered tomorrow.
Also, where do people ride here that isn't just slab?
Bike is registered. [Dolph]

Congratulations on getting it registered! Now if I can just get my starter back into mine...……….
Where did you finally wind up moving, was it Frisco somewhere? There are plenty of good, fun roads around but unless you want to run 455 back and forth you'll have a decent ride to get anywhere fun. Up North is where I usually go because I live in Allen. There are some great roads down South too but I have to get through the Metroplex to get to them.
Post up what part of town you are in and we can point you in the right direction. I'll be happy to go out with you once I am back up and running but I will certainly be MUCH slower than you. Caution has crept in as I have aged.

I haven't ridden much the last few years, so I'm no speed demon either.
I'm probably not far from you. I'm in McKinney, real close to the 75/121 interchange.
I'm in Carrollton, FWIW

Not to hijack, but I have the dreaded SS frame crack.
