Danilo has ligament damage to his right hand from that high speed crash, but will race tomorrow.
Dovi :-\ Anyone know the source of Dovi's qualifying trouble?
Magilla will be pissed after the incident
For sure must be some kind of record for MM.
1/4 is pretty tough on the front row injured and challenging MM for pole.

Takaaki was in a lot of pain, but it didn’t keep him from knocking Dovi out of Q1. [clap]

Ten for Ten! MM is a machine. Seems my boy has found a groove for now. [clap] Cal almost screwed the pooch late, but made the right choice and backed off for 3rd. Danilo fought through the pain and battled Dovi hard. I love it. [clap]

MM's record there equals Rossi's record at Mugello according to the commentators.
Yessir! [thumbsup]
There was some decent action if you ignored Marquez.
Did anybody else watch MotoE? Thoughts?

I watched it.
It will take some getting used to the lack of noise, but those guys are going for it.
Too bad the race was red flagged, because the race wasn't over.
If MotoE is going to be viable in any way they are going to have to fix the race length problem, and I am not talking about it being red flagged.
8 laps scheduled, reduced to 7 when it was announced that it would start as a wet race. That is just plain silly. Although the racing was good.
Mark
It was a tight race, and a shame to see it redflagged.
I don't think that airfence was rated for a 270kg projectile.
Sachsenring isn't super generous on runoff, but that thing put quite a lick on it.
When it started cartwheeling I thought it was gonna jump over.
Race length is tailored to allow them to race full tilt and not run out of juice.
At first I really thought the sound was turned down.

Oh, I get that, that is just a problem.

Considering the quality of the audio mixing on the MotoGP feed lately, that's a totally valid suspicion.

16 lap race with no 'battery throttling' would put bike weight well into
loaded bagger kinetic energy weapon territory.
They could do a bike swap at ~halfway, with a minimum swap time limit.
But if they're going to do that, IMO make it a 12 lap race with 30 kg lighter battery pack.
PSA: I will ignore any sentence including "...but real soon new battery tech will make it competitive with gasoline...", or any facsimile thereof.
Honestly, I've heard that shit for 30 years and I know enough Physics and Chemistry to say there's NFWIH.
C4 is not a practical human transport vehicle fuel.
