Title: Every time I move, I wish if I could live like Neil McCauley in "HEAT" 1995)
Post by: S21FOLGORE on July 26, 2019, 04:22:56 PM
I just moved again, … and, every time I move, I remember this scene, and the line …

“… have no attachment, allow nothing in your life that you cannot walk out in 30-second flat if you spot the heat around the corner.”

... wish if I could live like McCauley (minus bank job).

I mean, look at his room.

nothing, NOTHING in the room, except for coffee maker, a glass table and these two couches they are sitting.
The room is practically EMPTY.

That would make moving so easy.

BTW, if you haven’t seen it (HEAT), you owe yourself to see it.
(As well as “Theif (1981), James Caan, also directed by Michael Mann.
And, you can see the same logic / philosophy “Don’t let yourself get attached anything “  in “Thief” also.)

Dang, I have way too much stuff.
