Negative human interaction seems to have reached a new level. Almost like there is a competition going on to see who will win the prize on any given day for "worst human." I would love to see common courtesy, human decency, and maybe a healthy dose of mind your own business make its way back into everyday interactions.

People. They just aint no good.
Come to Minnesota, it's been a hoot lately.
There's a lot of positive out there, just a matter of refocusing your 'lense'. Definitely a challenge in the age of Internet and 24-hour "news" cycle. I'm still working on it [thumbsup]
It appears that the factory for Dumb Pills has been going full speed 24/7 for some time now and is now supplying all product for free to anyone.
Long-term customers are upping their dosages as well.
I'm having some trouble with all this. For the first time in my life I feel some emotional unrest over what's unfolding all across the country.

:(
FFS I did not have up to date information.
I was wrong, they've tripled production and distribution.
Maybe more.

Is this going to leave me more frustrated after reading? Optimistic? Hopeful? Just validate what I perceive and think I know?
The office (for clarification: my work office) and its toxic culture that the president ("toddler in chief") creates (and is the primary contributor to) and not being able to see and help my family plus the past 7 days are reaaaalllly starting to wear on me as well.
I try to find silver linings and feel gratitude (I really do have it much better than many) but those are becoming as elusive as a black footed ferret.
It's important to recognize that not all (not most) protestors are looters/rioters. So who are these A Holes?
And most police officers are just as horrified as we are by what happened in Minneapolis to start this latest wave of unrest. But why does it keep happening?
And Kristlenatch..... It's important to know your history, lest it be repeated.
I should probably go and ban myself now... :-\

It's kinda late. Wouldn't you agree?
I predict that this thread won't last much longer.

If there's anything I've learned in this journey, it's that the stupidity, greed, and douchbaggery of man is endless.
I'm not surprised, given the circumstances.
It is truly unremarkable times that we are currently living in.
I'm privileged to be able to work from home and not worry about my house being vandalized.
Sadly, there are way too many who are not in the same situation as I am.
But I feel trapped between my need to speak out and help versus the need for self preservation at the current time.
It is deeply troubling.
I see all of what is going on, and am filled with overwhelming sadness.
I look at the map on my phone, and cannot believe it's accurate.
This cannot be happening here, it just cannot.

Hey, if it's 1969 all over again then I think we at least deserve resurrected Jimi Hendrix as part of the package.
Oh, and these Cameros:

If the world is still here in 2021 we've got the new Bronco to look forward to. [thumbsup]

Yes, but when I spell it "Camero" it seems to bother some people.
Get rid of the trunk, open it up in back....I give you the "El Camero!"
[laugh] well this thread took a turn I never thought possible

Here it is...
OK mid mounted big Olds V8, but what about the rest of the journey from the flywheel to the road?
Turbo-Hydramatic TH475. Basically, the same driveline which made the Toronado a front wheel drive car. Half-shafts protruding from what looks like a standard 60’s big block automatic transmission.
I was afraid of that.
IMO, far too many cars get built with automatics when they deserve so much more.
You kids get offa my pressure plates!
Oh I get it. I thought it was something about that specific trans.
There's a reason I wanted the 6spd in my mustang. It's only right.

Oops. Thanks, Stew. But that got me thinking, why is it pronounced cah-mayr-oh? Why not cah-mah-ro? I looked up the name origin and according to Wikipedia:
Quote
Estes then announced a new car line, project designation XP-836, with a name that Chevrolet chose in keeping with other car names beginning with the letter C such as the Corvair, Chevelle, Chevy II, and Corvette. He claimed the name suggests the comradeship of good friends as a personal car should be to its owner and that to us, the name means just what we think the car will do... go. The Camaro name was then unveiled. Automotive press asked Chevrolet product managers, what is a Camaro? and were told it was a small, vicious animal that eats Mustangs.
This is the epitome of terrible marketing-speak.
