The haircut itself is horrible.
But ... I feel a lot better, which is the whole point (of doing this).
(Besides, looking at from 6 feet away, you don't see that much detail.
Looking at from 12 feet away, that looks normal.)
Mate, from the UK your hair looks fabulous [thumbsup]
I used to DIY - but for me it was more like sheep shearing. Every six months or so, I'd take it all off (I discovered that was the only way I could get the back more or less even by feel) and shave my head if I was feeling ambitious. Then I'd get to largely ignore it for another six months.
Now I do pretty much the same thing, but my wife does the shearing....
Since I have little up top anyway, I buzz what is there pretty short once a month or so. Low maintenance.
The same can't be said for my beard. Two years in, it's fairly epic (or so I'm told) and is definitely a commitment....

Thank you.
It looks okay from the distance.
And because of 6feet social distancing, people wouldn’t see the detail.
All these imperfection will be “blend in†in a week or two.
Marin county, where I live, just tighten everything up as of Sunday.
No more indoor dining, for example, for at least next three weeks.
(Starting Monday 29th, we were allowed indoor dining.
After only 5 days, we are back to where we were before.)
I'm just letting mine grow. Not going back to the office any time soon.
But looks like a decent job! [thumbsup]
I usually do a #4 then #2 and call it a day
#2 all the way around. Maybe some @1 around the edges if needed.
Done. [thumbsup]
Been doing that for years...
Hell yeah. I just run the #1 all over my whole head every few weeks. #1 is the shortest one right? 1/8 I think.

+1... well, actually, I had been growing my hair out for like 6+ months prior to CV-19, and it was getting TOO long, well, to me anyways, so i busted the clippers back out
for me, 'too long' = anything that requires any kind of maintenance, other than the occasional washing ;)
Looks good man. I had been cutting my own during the shut down because they closed the barbers here too (Sac county). Just got my hair cut last week while they were open cause I still had a gift card. Then boom they got shut down again. Guess in a couple weeks I may have to cut my own again. I have gotten pretty good at it actually.
