DATES SET FOR 2009 MOTOGP WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP ROUND AT MAZDA RACEWAY LAGUNA SECA
Fifth Annual Red Bull U.S. Grand Prix July 3-5, 2009
Not sure if I want to be there? You?
I would go... and want to go. But my brother in-law is getting married on the 3rd! :'( So if I do get to go... it might be for Sunday only :'(
sweet!!! i get to spend my b-day at laguna motogp next year. [thumbsup]
They said there were 150,000 in attendance this year. Imagine what it will be on the 4th!!!

That was the total for the entire weekend. Sunday's race brought in just under 47,000. Looks like having two U.S. GPs took some of the crowd away.

i am pretty certain that they count a 3 day ticket as 3 headcount.
We're already planning a new and improved camp site for 2009. Apparently the espresso machine and astro turf weren't enough, so we need to up the ante. ;D

Ever progressing toward perfection ;D
My list for improvements:
- An actual RV to park in the RV park.
- A real sink...perhaps in the actual RV.
- Propane heaters
(http://icons.iconarchive.com/icons/enos-layuk/king-of-the-hill/Hank-Hill-icon.jpg) - Leave the bike at home and take the shuttle so I don't get another ticket.
I am opting for a hotel close by and a pocket full of get outta jail free cards...
Nope.
What's the reasoning behind putting the race on a national holiday? It doesn't make sense to me.

Probably got moved back by adding Hungary to the list. And it's not like SCRAMP wants big attendance.
I'll be there for sure. I got robbed of a year of GP and a 4th of July while I was in Afghanistan, so I'll be making up for it!

what's with the "canadian twats. O'yeah howdy"? eh?
as a canadian, i resemble that remark.
I can't wait for MotoGP next year, especially since I had to miss it this year due to the ol' birthday. My best friend from college lives in Carmel - methinks I will try and convince her to host a DMF BBQ in her backyard on one of the nights... ;D
Hmmm
I am a 50/50 right now. Not sure if I want to be up there on the 4th... Camping sounds like fun though =)
I think camping would rock that weekend (well if your into fireworks going off all night) I'm sad that realistically with the wedding I have to attend being that weekend that I will be able to go for more than Race Day. I'm just crossing my fingers for a great race like this year (with perhaps a slightly different end).
Planning on being there this year.
My friends B-Day is July 4th, I won't make it MotoGP 2009 either.
