Hello, My name is Guido from the Atlanta Ga area (Decatur). I've been riding for 60 years and started my racing career on a 250 Ducati riding scrambles with other employees of the shop where I was sweeping floors. At 16 I started riding pro Flat Track on a 350 and quickly moved up through the ranks to expert when I was 17. I ended up with a 'deal' to ride Yamaha's. After college I bought a dealership and built up a CZ250 short tracker that was a blast.
I've never stopped riding and have owned about 50 motorcycles in my life. Current fleet includes a CB250 Cafe Racer, a Yamaha 400 Majesty, a CB900C that's being converted into a street tracker (yes - I'm nuts), a Suzuki Bandit 1200 that is all set up for long distance riding, and now a 2009 Monster 1100 (Christmas present from the world's BEST wife!)
I'm 72 now, a 'spirited' but now sane rider. I love riding the N. Georgia mountains but don't back it in any more.
If you're going to be around Atlanta, get in touch. I'll put you together with a bike night and set up a ride into the mountains!
Welcome Guido!
Nice to have another dinosaur around. ;)
Welcome [thumbsup]
