Great race! Ken wasn’t gonna be denied tonight. Eli got a great start, and was probably going to walk away with it, but had an early incident. Cooper was back in 9th early, but drove through the field.

I thought when Ken handed the lead back to Tomac that there might be a good battle, but Roczen got by him quickly and Tomac couldn't do much about it.

There was definitely some confusion in the 250's when the red flag was waived. It seemed like the guys were still racing as if under the medical flag, not the red flag. How do you hit a damned medical staffer!?

It got crazy quickly. They almost never throw a full race red in Supercross, and maybe that led to the confusion. (?)




Justin Cooper had the lead but the race was red flagged so officials could attend to Alex Martin. Cameron McAdoo clipped one of the medics as the red flag was out.

“Dude there was medic guys running everywhere and I think Cameron even got one of them,” said Cooper.

“It was pretty crazy,” said McAdoo. “We started getting red cross flags before we even got to the triple. One of the medics, after Justin had gone by, was trying to get across the track to Alex and he crossed in front of me. I had nowhere to go. He jumped in front of me. I don’t think the medic saw me coming.”

Great race! Daytona is so awesome, and this track layout separates the men from the boys. Being able to run the “cart cam” on the track gives a really good visual.
