Title: S4R 2008 diagnostic plug adaptor
Post by: HanaAna on March 03, 2022, 11:20:07 AM
Could someone confirm that I'm on the right path: looking for adaptor to diagnostic plug that has 2 wires. Found this: https://www.lonelec.com/product/moto-guzzi-ducati-3-pin-to-16-pin-obd-adaptor/ (https://www.lonelec.com/product/moto-guzzi-ducati-3-pin-to-16-pin-obd-adaptor/)
Am I good to go with this? Already got elm327 obd-usb from another project...

Probably asked before but just couldn't find the answer :-[

Thanks,
Antti

Answering to myself ;) Made the adaptor by myself. #2 from 3-pin to #5 at 16-pin OBD and #3 to #7 at 16-pin OBD.
And +12V to OBD #16 & ground to #4. VAG KKL cable from local store. Problem was that the pinouts I found was differing a bit from this. Now connected to TuneEcu and downloading map from ecu.

Hope this helps some another beginner connecting S4R....

that adaptor sounds interesting. I am defenitely a beginer for Moto electronics.
It would be great to see a thread with pics of how you did this adaptor and how to fundamentally use it.
