Post by: DEVO! on July 30, 2008, 10:12:40 AM
Ok my battery is completely dead wouldnt even turn my motor. I called the Dealer they have them but they need to be filled and charged over night. I need a battery now! (stuck at work) is there any where I can pick one up locally? Like a sealed battery and does any one know the size?
Oh I am in CA los angeles & the valley.

Yea the lights come on and go right back out and nothing the only thing that happens is my back tire locks up. I tryed in 1st 2 nd 3 rd & 4th gear and all that happens is my wheel locks up when I let the clutch out

your not going fast enough. rear tire isnt suppose to drag.

But if your bike's lights arent even comming on, then you need a new batt or recharge it. If its an EFI, no power = no ecu = cant bump start. if its a carbie, you can bump start it, but it would be harder. Try having someone push you up to say 10-15mph or roll down a hill.

I just got back from Valley Ducati Nick hooked me up with a "charged battery" and I am bringing in tomorrow for him to check out my charging system.

Yes my bike is FI so thats probably the reason it would not bump start. [bang]

Again Nick thanks man you really helped me out, my 695 is my only source of transpo these days.
