If you have the GP-tech... how much air does it flow compared to your old helmet (hopefully an X-eleven)?
AGV claims it is the best ventilation system they currently have. I got rid of my RF-1000 and now I am looking to buy the X-eleven.. but spotted the GP-tech. I am curious to read your opinions. [thumbsup]
this is beautiful :

I can't vouch for the air flow statement, but one of my co-workers just got that same helmet and if you think it's beautiful in the pics, it's 10x better in person.
That helmet is sick!

I bet... and apparently not many people have these yet. Not necessarily the Rossi one, but there are cheaper versions too. I don't have a dealer near me that carries the GP-Tech, so I can't try it on.. I would have to buy it and just hope that it fits and that I like it... oh and that is not made in China like the Ti-Tech is.
Are the AGVs no longer being made in Italy?

I don't know where you are located, but Pro Italia in Glendale, CA has them in stock. My friend's only comment was that the medium felt tight, tighter then the his Shoei, not uncomfortable, just a tighter fit.

Thanks.. I used to have an Rf-1000 in small and fit perfectly, but on the X-11 the small is TOO tight and I'd wear a medium.. go figure. If your friend had an RF then the GP small would work. Unfortunately my ducati dealer doesn't carry them. I'm in Nashville.
and YES.. at least the TI-Tech is made in China.. go to kneedreaggers.com and read some reviews..

He wears an X-11 Medium now.
I own one, if you do buy one online go a size bigger than your current lid.
They are tight!
But I will never own another type of helmet; they are quiet, comfortable, good air flow and its easy to change out the visor.
BTW my Ti-tech says made in Italy...
thanks for the posts.. I ended up buying the X-11.. I love it! I'm sure that the Gp tech is great too.. [thumbsup]
I am strictly an AGV guy and have owned and currently own several top line AGVs. X-Vent, Ti-Tech, and GP-Tech (Rossi Dreamtime #197).
The GP-Tech is far and away the best of the breed to date. Absolutely zero wind noise until about 60 mph, snug but not uncomfortable, very lightweight (definitely feels lighter than my ti-tech or X-Vent Rossi replicas), very little buffeting at speed, and far and away the coolest looking helmet I have ever owned.
That being said, my only complaint about it is that the helmet has a rather "bulbous" appearance. But then that is the price you pay for aerodynamics.
Far and away my favorite helmet to date. The fit part of it is correct. I have always been right between medium and large and this large fits my head snug. But like I said above, definitely not uncomfortable.
Jump on it. Well worth it imho.
