Title: NEW REPORTS UP ON MOTO ONE SITE
Post by: brad black on August 06, 2008, 05:59:51 AM
there's some new stuff up now - http://www.moto-one.com.au/performance/performance_news.shtml

if any of you are having hassles getting the site to load (as many have commented after the past couple of years), try adding a / to the end of the usual address, as in

http://www.moto-one.com.au/performance/

seems to work a treat.  some sort of server issue i'm told.

I'm not particularly bright though.

Brad,
Cool!  BTW, what are your thought on the Competition Systems' Nemesis replacement ECU?

i've had a bike in with a nemesis, but due to a few reasons i haven't played with it at all.  i'm sure it's a useful thing.  one thing about it that i didn't really like was that there's no idle trimmer style function.  and the one i had in (1098) idled really dirtily, something the person who was setting it up didn't seem interested in fiddling with.  for me it justs another product that'll take a few goes at getting it up to the speed that road end users, as distinct from race end users, will be satisfied with.  racers don't cruise around at 3,500 rpm - that's where the most issues come from when tuning bikes, what happens when the owner cruises around.

and losing all that time to learn a new product is not something the business i work for can tolerate these days.

plus out here it's expensive - au$1800 or so i believe.  the u59 is $850.
