Got these new Eagle screens today. Vince and I got the same item each, fitted up in seconds.
Well mine did after I ran some racing stripe tape around it.
Not sure if I'll keep it on but at this pre-trial ride stage I'll leave it on.

looks good Matty [thumbsup]
Any front views of the stripes ???
Click my Flickr link and there are more on my page.
But here's the most front on that I have. bit rough on the curves but I might have another go at it.

hey Matty
What was the reason you bought the new screen? Is the screen higher than your original one or didn't you have one to start with?
Yeah had one already but this is about 5-8cm's taller than OEM and also dark tint compared to clear.
Hoping it will help with Freeway runs (not many) but also the semi touring coming up of Tourismo in S.A.
yep same as mine, you will feel the difference, like i said earlier you will have brace it or do what i do and thats stuff some foam in there for high speed [thumbsup]
Yeah have the foam lined up.
i personally don't like the shape of it; too tall for my liking - looks like it should be on a bmw. way too conservative and lacks "sexy italian" attitude
........but it is not my bike and if you like it, matty - than it is all that matters
Got the same one as well Matty, very happy, picked mine up about 2 days after I had the Bike.
They look good and fit well, Not a big fan of the stripe, but to each his own as they say!
Great! [thumbsup]
a tad too tall for my likings, but if it serves the purpose....
I suppose you can always swap it round for the OEM one when your not doing long freeway stints.
I guess it depends on if you think it looks better than the original one?
I'd be going for the original one but tinted for everyday use.
True all of that, but it was bought for a purpose. Tourismo........
3-4 days of riding covering a few thou k's so I think it's gonna do a great job.
As for the stripe, well like I said it's just a bit of look_c job. I thought it might define the screen edge rather than letting it just go.
We'll see when the riding happens this week.
You know the drill about beauty and the beholder.
I use the 3 want’s "You listening Tool we know you still there" what you want when you want how you want, as long as it dosent encroach on others you cant go wrong Matty [thumbsup]
totally true, it's all in the eye of the beholder.
otherwise all our bikes would look the same, no two Monsters are alike.
I think it looks like a huge steaming pile of dog poopoo.
Is Poopoo one word or two?
[cheeky]
;D
yeah but you ride topless anyway......(http://www.1098-forum.com/forums/images/smilies/faceboobs.gif)
Looks good to me, BTW, it probably wouldn't look as tall if the tape wasn't there to highlight the edges.
yep I know it wouldn't, she gets a test ride Thursday.
The tape might have a limited life, we'll see.
Looks good Matty.
Wish I knew you were doing a bulk ship as I just emailed Eagle Screens last night.
What was the cost of everything???
Rob
PS. I have not been recieving email notifications. Some thing has F*%ckd up I may have to start a new account.
Screens $150 shipping $17.50 and pretty quick too, I think it took less than a week.
Cool,
Got the stock in the dark tint and the total was $120 shipped.
Let you know how it goes.
Rob
i got it in less than a week.
The package was a little heavy. Found Eagle screen chucked in a heap of current bike mags! [thumbsup]
Top service & top notch product.
Rob

hey kursed you got the paint so paint the inside they look a treet painted [thumbsup]
Also have the Eagle dark screen fitted to my Titanium coloured Duke and I like it...... Gives that extra protection in the wind at speed... [moto]
But it did wobble around a bit in the wind so I got the poorducrider struts which fit straight on (thanks to Rusty's advice).....
Got to the Flickr link below to see the setup of the struts.... [thumbsup]

OK some noddy questions.
I guess $150 gets you the screen only which bolts to your existing fairing?
Which model did you get? S, W or T?
Are you going to get a set of "poorducrider" stays as suggested? How may other Sydney people are thinking about them? Can we "bulk order" and reduce shipping?
So may questions.............
$150 gets you the taller wind flip model.
I think $120 gets you a standard size item, both are tinted if you like from memory.
I didn't arrange mine my bike manager ordered mine for me.
You use the existing bolts/screws in the OEM fittings (holes).
As for the Poorducrider things well so far I haven't found you need them but each to there own.
I never thought the standard screen was too bad for protection. [thumbsup]
$120 for the standard dark tinted delivered!
Rob
So does anybody know what the third option is?
s- standard
w-- windlip
t-- touring
i thought mine was touring but its a windlip
So the windlip and touring are both taller than standard? .... and are they the same height?
yep but the windlip has more foward lip thats what the peace of paper that came with mine said
Thanks Bazz
i forgot to say it dosent taper at the top as mutch , in other words it suposed to give more protection [thumbsup]

Great job Bazz..... Just like a bought one....... [thumbsup]
Bazz, top job.
Vince are you making some?
Or should I order with Bazz, I'd love to do some but don't have a vice or a work bench to do it on.
Come on Matty, you can do it!
I have the greatest confidence in your abilities (nothing like some encouragement!).
With fathers day coming up you could "gift" yourself some "man tools" - every Aussie Bloke needs a vice or two.....
no where to put it though...
got no garage
took the little girl out today the struts worked a treat , there a peace of cake to make i didnt youse a vice matty , a vice marks the metal even with a pair of soft jaws , so i yoused two shifters mutch neater bends and you dont run back and forth to the work bench , i painted mine black cause i didnt like the red , but thats up to you ,and vince it was 10 by 3 [thumbsup]

Yeh we can do it some time next week at the shop just let me know when your free,i have some nice Aluminum

Cool, love a date to make stuff in the shop.
ahem .... so are these going to become commercially available locally?
Don't have one of those fancy big screens but we do frequent the F3 a bit and the little screens jiggle about like unrestrained breasts at a dance party.
who are you addresing me or dock
Both I s'pose :)
Vince might be set up a little better for mass production though ... and by mass production I mean just a bit more than 2 sets ;D
if you and jukie want a set just holla , knowing now that you really wear the pants , ill go to the super market tomorrow [laugh] [laugh] [laugh] [laugh] [laugh] [laugh] [laugh]

Thanks for the generous offer Bazz - I was partly joking.
I wouldn't want anybody going out of their way for something I could buy myself if I could be bothered.
