ive always been into drawing. Now that ive got a broken knee ive taken some time to design a friends rc51 build. Im designing the frame, swinger and tail. Here is a drawing i did for fun of my monster about a year ago. Its not accurate, just for fun.

Very good [thumbsup]
Wow, those're some pretty cool designs, but what's really striking is the quality of the drawings.
The shading on a couple of those really makes the images seem to jump off the page.
Very cool. [thumbsup]
very nice work, indeed [thumbsup]
Nice to see some more designers on the DMF.

thanks everyone. If i take my time and work on one i can really make it pop. All but the last one were just ideas to get the gears turning in the guys head. Now that i know he likes the last one i can give it some detail.
Ill be doing a drawing of my custom bike build in the near future ill be sure to post up.
It all starts with a simple drawing and a crazy idea. You never know where it might lead to next... I discovered that by accident in Nov 2003 with my Photoshop drawings and the reaction they created. Ultimately it fostered MotoCreations in 2004 and the building thereof and many customer Ducati-powered creations and lots of design work for other manufacturers since.
One thing to remember is keep it simple and think about the engineering involved and how the components are actually fabricated. Then go and build it and don't deviate from the design work you have done already.
Good luck!
Coolstuff, with your permission, I might steal a few of those ideas. If you're interested in doing some drawings for a motorcycle book while you're convelessing, contact me offline.
maybe Ducati will see those and redesign the back section of the 696!!
The force is strong with you!
Looks awesome!!!
Are you thinking of using ZTL brakes from a Buell? (1st picture)
Very nice, you´ve got talent! Use it! Build a bike!
