allen keys and a large (I forget the mm) socket.

has all the oversized sockets you need to work on the bike as a whole.

Same thing happened to me.  The hardest part is disconnecting the rear brake light trigger.  Its pretty easy though.  I just pulled the rod out of my rear brake master cylinder after taking off the two screws that hold it.  Oh, and don't forget to lube everything back up that was lubed before.  You are also going to need a torque wrench to torque everything back up properly.  You can get them for like $20 at Harbor freight.  When you put the three main nuts back in just make them all hand tight, then torque them down with the torque wrench. Curious to know where you plan on getting (or got) your replacement rear set from.

55Nm for the large nut,  36Nm for the two smaller ones, and 10Nm for the two bolts securing the master.  You can download a workshop manual for very cheap if you ever want to and it has all the proper torques and a bunch of information for assembling and disassembling different parts of the bike.

If you didn't get the giant socket of doom yet, just bring the replacement rear set up on Sunday and we'll get you all hooked up  [moto]
