Title: New moto bits
Post by: Kevin848 on August 15, 2008, 06:21:58 AM
Getting un-expected moto parts in the mail is sweet!  [thumbsup] They were suppose to call when they had it in stock and I never heard from them...  but yesterday I received the ClearAlternatives tail light with integrated blinkers, Im glad I didnt buy the one at Eurosport last weekend  ;D.

Anyone install one of these before?

Nope I'm cluless. Does it say what the increase in top end is after install? [laugh] I would like to check them out afterward you get them on. I see some of the manufactuers are getting into the clear cover swing of things. Guess they are tired of watching Clear Alternatives make all that $$$. [thumbsup] [bacon]

I don't think they are worse than the tail and blinkers on the sc and ps...need to clean up my bike also.

Its not the worst, but I think it looks much better without.

The tail section of the 848/1098 isnt that bad, but when you see what the bike looks like without the plate bracket you'll change your mind.

Made this same offer to Ryan. I have a brand new in the box spare Evoluzione fender extension eliminator kit. I bought the last two ever offered from MotoWheels last year. Evoluzione stopped making them so you can't even find one on their website. I have no pics of the one on my Back in Black but you might be able to goggle a pic. The kit Ryan has on his/ex yours SC1000 is very nice. I forget who made it and where he got it but it also does a nice job of cleaning up the butt.

I like the way it looks, but man it's kinda hard to see your indicators.  I think I'm going to do the vent blinker option + the Comp Werkes tail tidy

Here are few pics of my bike w/o the plate bracket

Do you have a line on these?
I think RonR's were custom...
I think the blinkers in the vents would be cool, but I still wish the brake lights were LEDs :P

Yep a few weeks and I'll have the LEDs in the vents.

I put the comp werkes on and I like it. Custom LED's would look better though
