Title: trimming ecm on s4r
Post by: pjr989 on August 22, 2008, 08:23:44 AM
I just had my bike dynoed at Gingerman raceway on sunday and I have a slight drop in the torque and power curve at 7500 rpm. The bike is stock with a set of Arrow cf pipes(full system) Is it worth my while to open the airbox and have the ecm trimmed?
I have heard good things about TT motors in MI and was going to go there. The bike is an 05 if it makes a difference also at that time I will get a 14t front sprocket, anythoughts ? the bike runs really smooth everywhere else but I keep hearing how lean these things are set up making them prone to popping ( which it does at steady throttle while city ridding.) My buddy describes it as sounding "angry" when we ride together kinda like my wife!
