This topic crosses over into the Gear forum as well, so...
It's easy enough to complain about poor service but all too rare to praise excellent service. I thought I'd do a bit of the latter. Lately I've done a bit of business with the following three vendors and I wanted to call them out for their general excellence.
- New Enough (www.newenough.com (http://www.newenough.com)): These folks are simply wonderful. Over the past few months, I've bought a number of items from them (from Sidi Vertigo Corsa boots to a Powerstand Mario stand) and their service has been nothing short of perfect. They have a great and simple web site, their customer service is wonderful and personal, and their return policy is about the best I've ever seen from any merchant.
- Sport Bike Track Gear (www.sportbiketrackgear.com (http://www.sportbiketrackgear.com)): I've always enjoyed Brian Vann's web review videos, and recently had a chance to try out their service. I ordered an Arai RX-7 helmet and a pair of Alpinestars SP-X glove on a Monday, neither item of which they had in stock. By Wednesday, the helmet was on my doorstep and I had the gloves by Friday. I was totally blown away by the expedited service, and they were really wonderful to talk to on the phone
- PJ's Parts (www.pjsparts.com (http://www.pjsparts.com)): I've bought a couple of sets of Rizoma mirrors from PJ's (most recently a set of Reverse Retros for my S4Rs) and their service couldn't be more personal and friendly. They've always followed up with a prompt email (and not a machine-generated one), and have always shipped out my items almost immediately.
Anyway, I just wanted to get a plug in for these three excellent establishments. If you haven't had an opportunity to do business with any of the three, I heartily recommend it. Cheers.
I have to say +1 to NewEnough. I've ordered from them a couple of times and they've been awesome. I would recommend them to everybody.
I have done business with NewEnough and PJsParts - very impressed.
BTW - I'm first in line if Megan at NewEnough is available - WOW

The "Little Dutch Boy" was famous for what? Sticking his finger where?
Honestly, tho, +3 or 4 to NewEnough. I've bought from them on numerous occasions and have always been pleased with service, speed, prices, and products.

Nope, in Norway - nevertheless, if she was for me I'd move and make it a very close relationship [evil]
On a sidenote - calling Statler: NewEnough has offered to make us part of their donation program (a dollar to DMF out of NewEnough's pocket for every purchase. Acting upon that?

you, sir, have a deal!Just send the eyecandy, and I'll pack Megan up, and ship as soon as the eyecandy gets here.
UPS o.k.?
We will soon have a working relationship with Newenough...when folks order they will able to choose DMF as an option and Newenough will donate one buck to our account. When there's enough dough there we can do raffles or prizes etc., to spend it. I can't wait to b able to do things like 'the winer gets a pair of Sidis in the size of their choice'
It's not set up yet, but it's in the works.
<puts nose back to grindstone>
Another [thumbsup] for PJ Parts
