Not sure if you guys remember Mark... he goes by Turbo on most of the boards... big Ducati Pacifica rider... went with us on his Strada the other weekend when we looped around to the beach and back from Saint Honere Bakery... anyway... he swerved to avoid an animal and went down... broke a few ribs, and many other injuries, and is in the hospital for awhile.... I think he went down on last Friday or Saturday. Not only is the Strada his main form of transport... but I think it is his only form of transport... so wish him luck... and if you want to hear more on how he is doing... check out the ducati pacifica forum pages. Nice guy and a great rider.
Confused rider who doesn't know what he is even riding at the moment. (2012 URAL GearUp, 2012 Ninja 250 Racer, 1969 CB175 Racer)

Don't know him personally or from any forums but I always hate to see people go down. Get well soon Turbo!

Mark Trbojevic (hence the 'Turbo' name - he's a Brit) is a good friend of mine. It is nice of you to 'Well Wish' him. I've been in touch with Mark since this mishap and he has a fantastic spirit. He doesn't seem to be rattled by the get-off. It's just a result of a situation that occured. His left side took the impact resulting in five broken ribs, a snapped collar bone and some road rash were his gear either failed or did not cover.

Mark has ridden more miles on two wheels than anyone I know personally. He has experienced many situations and even saved the life of a friend. Unexpected things will happen. It's just a fact.

What is too bad is the result of his eight month old Multistrada... scrap! His Multi was so nice that is was the one that convinced me that those are, or can be, nice machines (most are funny looking or as Dan says "Ugly Strada" :) ). He also have a nice ST4s, he loves to tour. He is excited about replacing the Multi and carrying on. Just needs to heal up.

Thanks for kind thoughts,

I make fun of the Uglystrada, but it's a self-depracating sort of thing, as that's likely the next moto to be added to my stable.  ;)  Having test ridden that and the ST, the 'Strada is definitely the more comfortable, functional bike.  ST has a better mill and aesthetics, but in just about every other area the Multi is the better ride (especially for tall guys).

Get well soon Mark!  Glad to hear his spirit isn't too down... In times like that you gotta take a moment to recover, get back up, dust yerself off, and get back on the horse.  [moto]
