As I lit my Cigar and looked around my ash tray was nowhere to be found. Where the hell is it!!! Lucky for me, I just finished installing a clutch cover on my S2R. The lifeless clutch-cover was sitting at my feet with the rubber seal nestled inside of it. At that moment I had an epiphany.  I picked it up, gave it a quick dust off and placed it on the stool next to me. It now has a whole new purpose in life, a new vibe.

This got me to thinking, what else could I use this handy-dandy cover for? A whole spectrum of ideas came to mind. What do you know-----THESE STOCK CLUTCH-COVERS ARE REALLY HANDY!!!

Here are some picks.

For the extremely vertically challenged:

While working on the bike you need a nuts/bolts bowl:

Oh yea:

And gents, if you want to spruce up that garage of yours, but just don't have that special item yet. Do this. Go to your bedroom, living room, and bathroom; wherever it was your better-half took down your Moose head from the wall and replaced it with an Ikea clock. Rip that crap down! Start breaking it apart just as you did the first week you got your Monster home. Take all the internals out and quietly (shhhhhhhhhh, they are always listening. Try not to giggle) go to the garage. Get your clutch-cover out, drill a hole in the (before you do this have it powder coated or chromed) center, then install the clock parts. BANG!!! You have yourself a cool looking clock for your garage.

So when your yuppie neighbor comes over the house and he ask, "What is that funny looking clock on the wall?" Look him straight in the eyes as if he just insulated your wife and kids and say, "Shut your pie-hole right up! Respect the Clutch-Cover Clock."

Here are some other ideas:
Peanut's bowl for when you're watching MoteGP.
Cat/Doggie bowl for Max or Fluffy.
...and the list goes on and on.

I have my S4RS for serious twisty riding and my S2R1000 for city rides, long rides or just riding around with my Daughter.  [thumbsup]

My cigars will never use an unworthy glass tray again.     Such an obvious idea but mine's been sitting in a box in the shed all this time.
