As the title states, i low sided my bike the other day, i was rounding a corner quite slow and there was an oncoming car that was in the middle of the road avoiding cars parking on both sides of the road, i paniced as it was a tight fit and squeezed a bit too much front brake and down i went.

Anyway so i have the dreadful tank ding from the bars. Along with bent handlebars, and grinded front and bent rear brake levers.and Bar end mirror is toast.  But other then that looks fine.

My question is could i have done more damage then what i'm seeing ?  And what about the handle bar stops, i looked at it and it has a dent where the screw hit hard, my handle bars now turn and hit the tank. do i just adjust the screw back out so it doesnt touch? or did i do some other damage, screw looks like it's in the same position as the other side.

sorry maybe this should be in tech, feel free to move

cheers

I'd replace the bars before you adjust the stop...

and you will get better advice in tech...
