When I say designed, I mean just aesthetics.  MIT Aeronutics professor Dava Newman did the real work on a concept/prototype called the BioSuit for EVA work.  It's a big jump in suit design if it goes into use.

Besides being neat in a tech way, she mentioned that Dianese worked with her on the aesthetics udring a radio interview.  Sure 'nuff - there's the devil on a space suit

Cool. Wonder how much it weighs - blurb doesn't say.

Our involvement is substantially more than simple aesthetics.  We are heavily involved on the material and construction side of things.  We had one of the prototypes here for display at the Legends of the Motorcycle show in Monterey, and it is incredibly lightweight.  The entire theory behind the suit is making it as tight as possible to maintain pressure but still allow normal movement.  The current gen suits are so incredibly bulky as air is pressurized around the body, whereas this suit would acomplish the same thing mechanically.  All of the lines you see on the suit essentially act as hinges allowing great freedom of movement while still maintaning proper pressure.  This technology was developed by us and has trickled down into our W-Frame and Mission race suits.

This motorcycle is simply too goddamn fast to ride at speed in any kind of normal road traffic unless you're ready to go straight down the centerline with your nuts on fire and a silent scream in your throat. ~Hunter S. Thompson

My vision is quite bad as it is. Can't afford to get it worse.  ;D
