It's not the V4 Superbike that will be racing. It's the V twin RSV 1000R in the Daytona Sportbike class against inline four 600s, three cylinder Triumphs and Buells... the "new" Daytona 200 that will be run at night. (MotoGP copycats!) Pay attention class!!! :P

Right you are.  that's what I get for posting at 3 AM.   :-[ [bang]

From the superbike article...

....The Factory Aprilia Millennium Technologies team will be managed exclusively by KWS Motorsports and will compete on the Aprilia RSV 1000R.

Here's the link to the other article with the V4:

That's okay, just not much space for luggage....

I wonder how the tech support and warranty is for that versus Ducati and MV (probably the two extremes in exotic bikery)  Can't wait to see some road tests!

Me too!

I would love a Desmosedici-derived V-4 lightweight sport oriented streetbike at a reasonable cost.

This may be the closest thing I'll see for some time.
Come on Aprillia!
DFW-MFer!

Aprilias have always been relatively less expensive than Ducs assuming the same equipment.  Does anyone know if they've come out with a price for the RSV4 yet?
