Would it be possible to get BBCode for youtube, googlevid, etc for embeding videos?

Make sure that one you install this package, that you also install the patch for it.

couldn't they just enable html commands?  in which case you'd simply cut and paste the "embed" info from the vid sight and bracket it with html and /html ?

Allowing HTML exposes the board to TONS of malicous code attacks... it wouldn't be the safest thing to do... adding the BBCodes is really easy on my personal forum I've set it up for Youtube, GoogleVid and some other random websites.

However it's done, I agree that embedding is much cooler than linking to vids.  I'd also like to see it.

anywhere a link was posted that went to a supported video is now automagically an embedded video.  Using it is just as simple: just paste the link into your post and when it's posted it'll auto-embed! [thumbsup]
