which one?  I'm partial to some in your collection.  have time, will travel.  8)

unfortunately... the Kawi is the only one thats mine.. I sold my other Kawi (zx7r)..

The MV, and assortment of Aprilias were ones that I had/have free reign to ride, but they aren't mine :(

That was probably the only perk to my old job

That is why it was recommended to me to get a random orbital polisher, lessen the chance of burning through the clear and/or paint.  I was a novice when I did my car, now it is easy to do.  Start out slow, learn as you go and gain confidence.

How much is a good random orbit polisher?  And where might I find one ;D

The car I've got now is the first one in a long, long time that doesn't have a metallic finish.  I think the "solid" colors - red in this case - show  imperfections much more easily than the metallics  :-X

Some scientists claim that hydrogen, because it is so plentiful, is the basic building block of the universe. I dispute that. I say there is more stupidity than hydrogen, and that is the basic building block of the universe.

Cher,

Porter Cable 7424 (~$170) is the general defacto good bet amongst the majority of "amature" detailers, as well as some semi-pro's.  It will get the job done for your average needs.  Many people can use this and never outgrow it.   If you want to be "daring" and get something a little more powerful which can take you a little further in life (i.e.: can get out some more aggressive imprefections, but can also do more damage in unskilled hands), there's the Flex XC3401 (~$280).

Read a bit about dual-action orbital polishers here... http://autogeek.net/dual-action-polisher.html

You can also browse around that site to find different kits that will include the rest of the stuff for the job - polishing product, pads, towels, etc.

If you're interested, send me a PM and I'll give you some Corvette specific information on products.  [thumbsup]
