I saw on here some time ago a fellow had posted a pic of an after market baffle.

It was about 8 to 10".  I can't find the post anymore.

Does anyone have a source for baffles?

Thanks

we'll probably need ALOT more information.

what bike, what exhausts, what are you trying to do

sorry it's for my non-ducati project.

I have stock pipes from a 77 Honda CB750K and the chrome is in great shape so I would like to use them for my project.  I don't see a bolt holding the baffles in.  I want to remove the baffles cuz they are shot.

I'm thinking I have to take a 1 1/2" hole saw to the ends and then somehow break out the rusted baffles, and then weld in some after market baffles.

I saw a post on here about a guy who had found these after market baffles, I don't know much more than that.

Anyone have any different ideas?

Here are a mess to choose from.  Just type 'motorcycle baffle' into Google and you'll get lots.  Of course, these may need some welding and fab to install.

From what you say, it might not be the baffle that's shot, it may be the fiberglass packing.  Many aftermarket mufflers use a baffle with several layers of fiberglass packing wrapped around it and wired in place.  They need to be disassembled and re-packed from time to time.  You can find generic kits for this.

You can find plenty of tutorials on the web on how to do it.  Hope this all helps.
