I recently bought a Roof Boxer.  It's a modular style helmet that allows you to remove the chin bar all together if you want.
It's easily the most versatile helmet I've ever owned and would recommend it in terms of style and comfort.  [thumbsup]

i would recommend the roof helmets too  [thumbsup] , don't buy older model like the boxer classic, i suggest you the roof boxer v8 black shadow or the roof boxer v8 R (better air intakes and vents) or the latest model: roof desmo helmet

I usually wear a full face helmet, but if I am running local errands in the city I wear a Momo Avio.  I really like it.

i picked up a pretty sweet carbon fiber RUBY helmet with a silver star design last time i was in london. it is absolutely baller, with umber comfy quilted red leather interior. it feels like your head is being pressed with angels' boobs. http://www.ateliersruby.com/

but i only wear it on my vespa around town. i ride re-diculously fast (or at least terrifyingly loud [evil]) on my monster, so full face helmet, full leathers and boots all the time, without exception.
Give me a shout if you know any good motorcycle detailers in the Westchester area.

Thanks for the suggestions. For an open face helmet and from what I have  thus far, seen The Momo Avio looks the best...I have  checked on the web , and  short of ordering it on line, does anyone know if I can get the Monmo any where in Toronto.

A big thank you as always.
