Because as stated earlier I do not have a problem with the way they look.  You do.  I think they are clean and do what I would want. (clean up the front end)

BTW - the SpeedyMoto Tall Boys looks quite a lot taller (about an inch or more?) than the 3.5" Swatts. Depending on my experiences through this season I will keep those in mind.
