I have the Nero textile, nice mild weather jacket. saved my elbows and shoulders last year when a pedestrian got in front of me. The jacket ripped but it was easily repaired.

Too thick to use in 80 F plus weather

And that.....is why I hate buying mail order.  It's worth it if you're going to be near a dealer to have them order it and try it on before you buy.  I have an odd torso/arm/chest ratio so jackets are a touchy subject for me.  I have a Technik jacket that cost me $150 bucks and it's ugly as hell, but it was the only thing in the whole damn shop that fit me well and as it turns out the 8 or so pockets come in handy.  For the way I ride, it's better to buy a slightly warmer jacket and live through the summer than it is to buy a "mid weather" jacket and freeze in anything below 50 degreees.

No not at all, I picked my up at a CT dealer and it is nice quality. Not too heavy and easy to wear.
