Steven here from Mystic Connecticut - hi all!
Just got my 696 Dark back from the shop today (600 mile). This is my first street bike after growing up a dirt rider. The msf course which I took earlier this spring was invaluable as was the advice I have already gathered from this forum (i.e. comfort seat, awesome CRG bar end mirrors, 14 tooth sprocket).
What a great website this is full of knowledgeable friendly people!

Thanks - dirt riding experience does help when it comes to what you can and cannot get away with on the street. I am taking it slow and having tons of fun

your bike awesom, becouse i've ordered same, but get red one... and one thing in common ... I rode dirt (*and still ride on it) before I get on to streets
