Monster Struck

Ducatis like all exotic Italian machinery have been out of my reach until now. Finally pulled the trigger and picked up a new 2009 Monster 1100 this past weekend. Not many miles on it yet but I can tell this bike is going to be a blast. I did ride a dealership test bike with Termis and I loved how easy the front would come up in first and second gears.

I am very fortuanate to have owned many different machines and have a few now. I own a 2005 Triumph Thruxton with big bore kit, cams, head work, FCR carbs, exhaust, etc. and it is one fun bike and looks great. But the Duc is the sexy bike with attitude and will lift the front on command. The Duc will allow the hooligan in me to come out every now and then and have fun in the twisties

I also have on order a 2010 Triump Thunderbird which is do to arrive any day now. I like to ride fast, do twisties and at times just cruise. I am luck to have a few bikes to meet all my needs and desires.

I'm still young at 44, have grown kids (wifes) and four grand children who are a total blast, a good job and several bikes. Life is good!
