Is this helmet out yet in U.K. or anywhere in EU?  I am interested to check it out.

http://www.reevu.com  (the worlds first rear-view helmets)

Last time I contact the manufacturer in U.K., it was not available ?

Here is excerpt of the reply I got from Reevu

"...The helmets we manufacture do not currently carry the DOT certification for the USA therefore we have no representation there yet. They currently carry the stringent EN 22.05. They will be certified in the future and we will contact you when the appropriate time comes.  The estimated price is around $299
"

"...The rear vision is achieved using a series of unbreakable (bullet-proof) mirrors which effectively bends the light over the top of the head giving a clear view of the road behind.

One of the recent changes to the helmet is that the once fixed optic part is now adjustable meaning the helmet is suited to different types of riding styles.

There is currently no stock available in Europe but the helmet will be relaunched soon and I can contact you as soon as it becomes available

I tried first version several years ago and it was to big, heavy and the rear view mirror was like on every other normal lid.

Maybe new version is better

My concern is that nowhere on the site does it mention safety certification - not even in the FAQ section does it list SNELL, ECE, or DOT related issues.
