After almost six years without a bike I will be back riding soon. I just bought a '06 S2R 1000 which I am going to pick up this Saturday. My bike history started in 94 with a Honda GB 500. After a year or so I added 3 cylinders and made it a Yamaha XJ900. Two years later I put in 50 more horse powers and got a Kawasaki ZX11. I enjoyed the Kawa for many years until I completely changed my mind and went back to a single, Aprilia Pegaso 650.

I cannot remember for how many years I have been fascinated by Ducatis, the famous L-engine and their designs. My personal favorites are definitely the 750SS from the seventies and MH900/1000 from the eighties...

I am pretty exited to get my Monster this weekend. Unfortunately, the Michigan summer will be over soon. - Pictures will follow next week.
