1 piece stretching

My friend has a 1 piece that he is getting rid of. I tried it on - it fits OK , but a bit snug. The arm and leg length are fine, its just tight tall wise, like crotch and shoulders. I know it should have a saggy ass, but its snug. If i got it and wore it alot and in the rain and such, would it stretch out?  Thanks.

is it newish? if that's the case, there will be some break-in.

Does it feel tight while standing or while on the bike?

It should be tight when standing.   Sitting on the bike shoud be better.   Everyone has tight crotch and baggy ass when standing in one piece leathers.   When in riding crouch is when it should be snug but comfy everywhere.

As others have said, new will stretch and old won't so much...but more importantly are where the seams are.

Some seams won't stretch but the leather panels will.   See if there is a run of stitching holding tight along where you would like it to move some...that stitching won't stretch.   I'm not talking about stitching pulling apart, I'm talking about pulling along the length of the stitching long-ways....it won't give much at all.

Its an older suit.

It felt snug when standing, not uncomfortable. On the bike it felt more snug, almost supportive. Though i was only on the bike for about 3 min, I wonder if after an hour it would be different.

Is there an easy way to have some stretch panels sewn in?

Take a longer ride and see how it feels, you may be surprised.

With an older suit I doubt it would be cost effective to have stretch panels sewn in.  If you took it to someone who specifically knows motorcycle leathers the cost would be high enough to deter the alteration.

Also depends on how you ride.   The crotch snugness when standing should go away when riding because you're chest is closer.  If you ride bolt upright it may not be so comfy.  Bend those elbows.
