i thought id share my experience, might help somebody out there...
i hope u at least enjoy the read.

so i was in the market for a decent 2 piece set of leathers for the cooler days and thought that with all the choices that A* offers one would be able to mix and match different jackets and pants for different weather conditions.

after struggling for months to pick one i decided on the RC1 2 piece (insert black power ranger here)

now comes sizing = what a f*cking complicated task
my dimmensions 6'2" 214lbs not a big gut, not a six pack either, i can fit a 36x32 but i prefer relaxed fit 38x32 and prefer XXL shirts though XL is my size.
all the websites say take your waist in US size and add 18
18+38=56 eu
i have a one piece fully perforated that fits very snug as it is supposed to but the idea to go 2 piece was adding some breathing room.
I tried on a 58 eu A* jacket and knowing i was going to add upgraded back protector 58 eu was tighter than i was looking for so logic clearly dictates 60 eu for the win
RC1 2 piece ordered
RC1 2 piece recieved size 60 eu, jacket fits great pants fall off if not connected to jacket
not good
realize something as i look at this 2 piece they have what they call "360 zip" or "full circumferance zip" and that translates to different length zipper attachments. (im talking more than a few inches)
which led me too believe that diff pants will not mate well with a 2 piece suit jacket.
return 60 eu 2piece RC1
order 60 RC1 jacket 58 eu apex pants (non perf.)
receive 60 RC1 jacket and it is slightly bigger than the 2piece jacket if the 2piece jacket was a 60 id call the jacket by itself a 61
58 pants fit great. just enough room. the plus 18 calculation they suggest would give me the "my nuts are uncomfortable perfect fit" (once again not what i was going for)
zipping the 2 piece suit together was very difficult while in them defeating the unzip to sit and eat affect i was shooting for.
the jacket and pant combo however much easier to zip unzip, because the jacket side of the connection is on the end of a stretchy material.
combining 2 components saved me over $100 over the 2 piece suit.
i must be honest here and say the 2piece suit felt like more leather or maybe it was stiffer leather than the apex pants, not sure dont regret the route i took.
although A* has one sizing guide to go by unless you put it on in the store prepare to return it if purchased on line, i wouldnt call it a guide more of vague concept.
At the bike show in Long Beach i tried on several Race Cut A* jackets even the race cut jackets are different in the same size. YMMV

I am the black power ranger, I ride a silver M1100, this is my story and im sticking to it

Favorite convo i read on this board
"PICS OR IT DIDNT HAPPEN"
"F**K U IT HAPPENED"

Suzuki Blvd M109R " Sliver " = assassinated by cager
PW 696 " Pearl " = traded in
M1100 " Loki " = Viking God of mischief ( Goddess in this case )
Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving in a pretty pristine body, but rather to come in sliding sideways all used up screaming F*CK YEAH WHAT A RDIE!!
