Thanks for all the birthday love, guys (and gals)! It was a great one, especially since I am going backwards now until Matador catches up with me.

While it was too soon since Matador's shoulder incident to go for a birthday ride, I DID get my bike back from the dealership that has been holding it hostage. I also woke up to an amazing breakfast in bed. Matador, seeing the key to my heart, managed to procure me some bellota ham for my special day (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jam%C3%B3n_ib%C3%A9rico) 

We ate our way across Houston and had some amazing food, flew a kite in the park, played with malamutes and ate pie. All around a great birthday weekend
