I've seen this before as the video shows they've been working on it for a while. I can't help but wonder how that ride who had to intentionally "biff it" must have felt during the demonstration.

  Pretty cool, the last version doesn't look as protective as the first version, I guess it needs to be less obstructive so you can return to the race track. For a street version, I would like the extra protection from hitting car fenders or guardrails etc. possibly from the first version.

Spidi has recently released there airbag vest http://www.spidi.it/spidi-jsp/news.jsp?id=788 and soon suits and jackets en an attempt to be the first on the market. I read somewhere that Dainese and Alpinestars are still working the bugs out of their airbag suits and won't have a street version for some time.
